Anatomical repair of distal biceps tendon ruptures has been shown to restore elbow supination and flexion strength. Here, we report the outcomes of distal biceps tendon reattachment using the ToggleLoc fixation device with ZipLoop technology through a single incision. This was a retrospective study of 38 patients with a mean age of 49.

Unlabelled: The primary aim of this study was to assess the clinical and radiological results after hemi-hamate resurfacing arthroplasty in patients with acute or chronic unstable fractures of the base of the middle phalanx and to describe technical features that can facilitate the surgical procedure. Hemi-hamate arthroplasties were done in 19 patients (mean age 39 years) with an isolated fracture at the base of the middle phalanx that involved more than 40% of the articular surface. We assessed ten chronic cases (treated >6 weeks after fracture) and nine acute ones (<6 weeks) at a mean of 24 months.

Repair of the quadratus pronator after osteosynthesis of the distal radius via the Henry approach is generally considered a difficult procedure. The quadratus pronator is a powerful muscle which stabilizes the distal radioulnar joint. The muscle is most often injured in association with distal fracture of the radius.

Purpose Of The Study: The authors reviewed 21 cases of extra articular malunions of the distal radius treated by osteotomy, temporary external fixation, then osteosynthesis. Two groups were studied: Group A of 14 patients with dorsal tilt of the distal radius and Group B of 7 patients with palmar tilt of the distal radius. Mean follow-up of this series was 69 months ranged from 12 to 109 months.
