In Bangladesh, social support can significantly influence their quality of life, yet it remains understudied. This study aims to identify the factors affecting perceived social support among women and adolescent girls with disabilities in selected sub-districts of Bangladesh.

Isolated splenic lymphangioma in adulthood.

Isolated splenic lymphangiomas are rare benign lesions mostly seen in children are exceptionally rare in adults, often discovered incidentally due to their typically asymptomatic nature. This case report elaborates on the surgical excision of a rare splenic cystic lymphangioma in a 33-year-old woman, underscoring the diagnostic and therapeutic challenges these tumors pose. The patient's symptoms, abdominal pain and a palpable mass led to imaging through ultrasound and CT, which revealed a cystic splenic lesion.

Introduction This study focuses on the cognitive testing and piloting of the Bangla version of the Washington Group Short Set Questionnaire on Functioning among adolescent girls and women with disabilities in selected sub-districts of Bangladesh. The Washington Group on Disability Statistics developed the questionnaire as a tool to assess the functioning and disability status of individuals. The adaptation of this questionnaire to Bangla is crucial for capturing accurate data on the experiences of adolescent girls and women with disabilities in Bangladesh.

Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma relapse as Burkitt lymphoma leading to ileocecal intussusception in an adult patient-a case report.

Burkitt Lymphoma, an aggressive form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, is a rare cause of ileocolic intussusception in adult patients. We present the case of a 17-year-old male patient, with a history of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in childhood, presenting with acute abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. CT and colonoscopy findings revealed ileocolic intussusception with a large ileocecal mass, leading to a diagnosis of Burkitt Lymphoma after histopathological and immunohistochemical examination.

Reliability and Validity of the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support Among Women and Adolescent Girls With Disabilities in Selected Sub-districts of Bangladesh.

Background Adequate community-based or societal collaboration and cooperation are considerably important for the overall welfare of women and adolescent girls with disabilities. "The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS)" has not been evaluated for reliability and validity amid women and adolescent girls with disabilities in the Bangladeshi context. Methods A Bangla-translated form of the MSPSS was constructed, and the survey was conducted among 152 women and adolescent girls with disabilities who were purposefully recruited from Bogura Sadar and Chapainawabganj Sadar sub-districts of Bangladesh.
