To further promote the sustainable nature of alkali-activated slag, a sodium sulfate activator is suggested to be used since it can be obtained naturally and generates lower greenhouse gas emissions. However, the mixtures activated by sodium sulfate exhibit low early strength and very long setting times.

In this study, the rheological properties of cementitious paste with water-to-cement (w/c) ratio of 0.4 and nano-FeO content of 3% are first measured under magnetic field.

This case-based technical report documents a case on the management of a multi-level forearm microsurgical reconstruction and the following TRALI syndrome that developed shortly after blood transfusion in a 29-year-old male. Multilevel microsurgical revascularization was performed via saphenous vein autograft arterial reconstruction from the proximal 1/3 ulnar artery to the ulnar side of the deep superficial palmar arterial arch.
