Background: The first case of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Poland was reported on 4 March 2020. We aim to compare the clinical course and outcomes of patients hospitalized in the Hospital for Infectious Diseases in Warsaw due to COVID-19 during three pandemic waves. Unlabelled: In stress-induced takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TC) high levels of catecholamines, including epinephrine, may be detected in blood. On the other hand, administration of exogenous epinephrine may occasionally result in TC.

A Case Report: The authors describe a case of a 58-year-old, otherwise healthy female, with TC which occurred after intravenous injection of 1 mg of epinephrine against cardiac arrest provoked by pneumoperitoneum performed before planned laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Alterations in axillary lymph nodes (ALNs) after complete axillary lymph node dissection (ALND) in comparison to the preoperative status were evaluated using lymphoscintigraphy performed preoperatively and 1-6 weeks after surgery in 30 women with a new diagnosis of unilateral, invasive breast carcinoma. Analysis of lymphoscintigrams revealed that ALNs after surgery were present in 26 of 30 examined women. In comparison to preoperative status, they were visualized in the same location (12 women), in the same and additionally in different locations (9 women), or only in different locations (4 women).

This is a report of three cases Legionella pneumonia; in 7-year-old girl, 4-year-old-girl, 10-year-old boy who were admitted to Paediatric Department during the twelve month. The clinical presentation of this cases ranged from mild respiratory illness to overwhelming involvement with multisystem organ failure. In all three cases were observed prodromal symptoms commonly associated with legionnaires' disease and radiographic or laboratory signs of legionnaires' disease.
