Reliability and Validity of the KFORCE Sens Inertial Sensor for Measuring Cervical Spine Proprioception in Patients with Non-Specific Chronic Neck Pain.

Background/objectives: Patients with non-specific chronic neck pain (NSCNP) exhibit sensorimotor disturbances, with proprioception impairment considered an important aspect. The aim of this study was to assess the reliability and validity of a novel inertial sensor-based electrogoniometer (KFORCE Sens) for cervical spine (CS) proprioception measurement in patients with NSCNP.

Methods: The within-day intra-rater reliability of CS proprioception and its association with patient demographics and clinical status were examined in fifty-nine patients with NSCNP, aged between 25-65 years, recruited from primary care.

Assessment of Construct Validity and Reliability of the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale in Greek Couples With Infertility Undergoing In Vitro Fertilization Cycles.

Introduction: The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) is a widely used screening instrument created to assess anxiety and depression symptoms during the experience of various health problems. It has also been increasingly applied to populations facing infertility. The current cross-sectional study aimed to assess the construct validity and reliability of the HADS in a sample of Greek participants undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles.

Associations of Treatment Outcome Expectations and Pain Sensitivity after Cervical Spine Manipulation in Patients with Chronic Non-Specific Neck Pain: A Cohort Study.

(1) Background: This cohort study aimed to evaluate the effect of patients' treatment expectations on pain perception changes following manual therapy cervical manipulations in individuals with chronic mechanical neck pain. (2) Methods: Demographic data were collected by 56 subjects who were asked to fill out the Neck Disability Index (NDI) and the Expectations for Treatment Scale (ETS). All patients received one single cervical manipulation, and pressure pain thresholds (PPTs) were measured before and immediately after the manipulation with a digital algometer.

Effectiveness of a Web-Guided Self-Managed Telerehabilitation Program Enhanced with Outdoor Physical Activity on Physical Function, Physical Activity Levels and Pain in Patients with Knee Osteoarthritis: A Randomized Controlled Trial.

: Telerehabilitation to guide self-management has been shown to be a feasible care strategy for knee osteoarthritis (KOA). The aim of this study was to explore the effectiveness of a blended web-based rehabilitation program enhanced with outdoor physical activity (BWR-OPA) and consultation versus an OPA (usual care) program in KOA patients. : Forty-four KOA participants were prescribed to follow the programs five times/week for 6 weeks.
