Background: Minibeam radiation therapy (MBRT) is an innovative dose delivery method with the potential to spare normal tissue while achieving similar tumor control as conventional radiotherapy. However, it is difficult to use a single dose parameter, such as mean dose, to compare different patterns of MBRT due to the spatially fractionated radiation. Also, the mechanism leading to the biological effects is still unknown.

Purpose: To compare the prevalence of potentially inappropriate medication (PIM) in the elderly according to the PRISCUS list, STOPP criteria, and Beers criteria. Secondary, to describe the differences using the three criteria focused on the inappropriate prescription of psychotropic drugs in the elderly.
Methods: A retrospective study was performed at Severo Ochoa University Hospital.
As interest in the use of copper-based nanomaterials in agriculture continue to increase, research into their exposure effects must expand from short-term, high exposure studies to long-term studies at realistic concentrations. Long-term studies can better elucidate the implications of copper nanomaterial exposure by allowing plants to mature and adapt to higher copper concentrations. In this study, sugarcane plants were grown to maturity in large nursery pots using soils amended with one of the following treatments: Kocide 3000 (Cu(OH)), a nano-sized CuO (nCuO), a bulk-sized CuO (bCuO), copper metal nanoparticles (Cu NP), or CuCl at 20, 40, and 60 mg kg.

The goal of this paper is to present the data from the first annual report and to compare them with autonomic registries and recent prospective multi-centric studies performed in Spain.
Methods: We included persons 75 years or older treated for fragility hip fractures in any of the centers participating in the RNFC between January and October 2017.
