Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the color stability of two composite resins after exposure to beverages such as Cola, Pepsi, Red Bull, and distilled water after 15 days.

Materials And Methods: The color stability of a microhybrid and nanohybrid composite was evaluated after storage in distilled water, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and Red Bull for 15 days. Color measurement was done using a reflectance spectrophotometer based on the CIE L*a*b* color scale.

Objectives: The tooth and the composite restoration can undergo a change in color after the restorative procedure over time. The purpose of this randomized clinical trial was to evaluate the color difference (ΔE) of two types of composite resins and remaining tooth structure over a period of 28 days.

Methods And Materials: A total of 40 teeth in 30 patients with Class IV caries or EllisClass II fracture in maxillary incisors were randomized into two groups based on the type of composite resin used for restoration: IPS Empress (n=20 teeth) and Filtek Z250 (n=20 teeth).

Introduction: The purpose of this review was to determine the diagnostic accuracy of cone-beam computed tomographic (CBCT) imaging in detecting vertical root fractures (VRFs) in root-filled teeth compared with a reference standard (direct visualization).

Methods: Electronic searches were performed in Medline, Scopus, Cochrane, and gray literature for English language articles until June 2020. Prospective and retrospective clinical studies using CBCT imaging to diagnose VRFs in root-filled teeth were included.

Healthcare data continues to flourish yet a relatively small portion, mostly structured, is being utilized effectively for predicting clinical outcomes. The rich subjective information available in unstructured clinical notes can possibly facilitate higher discrimination but tends to be under-utilized in mortality prediction. This work attempts to assess the gain in performance when multiple notes that have been minimally preprocessed are used as an input for prediction.

Various energy-absorbing substances, aminopyrazine (AP), 4,4'-azodianiline (ADA), and 1-chloro-4-hydroxyisoquinoline (CHIQ), together with their binary mixtures with existing acidic MALDI matrices were subjected to matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionisation mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS) and evaluated for the analysis of low molecular weight carbohydrates. The newly introduced systems, especially AP and the combination of 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid and aminopyrazine (DHB-AP), have solved almost all the existing problems of the generally low sensitivity of carbohydrate analysis and of the strong background noise produced from single acidic matrices. In fact, especially at a mixing ratio of 3:1 (DHB/AP), outstanding results could be achieved, enabling the detection of analytes down to a concentration of 4 fmol/microL with mass accuracy of 37 ppm.
