Objective: Mechanisms underlying metabolic improvement following metabolic and bariatric surgery (MBS) may provide insight into novel therapies. Vasopressin improves body composition and protects against hypoglycemia. Associations of copeptin, a stable cleavage product of vasopressin, with BMI and insulin resistance suggest an adaptive increase in vasopressin to counteract metabolic disruption.

The autophagy-lysosome system directs the degradation of a wide variety of cargo and is also involved in tumor progression. Here, we show that the immunity-related GTPase family Q protein (IRGQ), an uncharacterized protein to date, acts in the quality control of major histocompatibility complex class I (MHC class I) molecules. IRGQ directs misfolded MHC class I toward lysosomal degradation through its binding mode to GABARAPL2 and LC3B.

Traditional full-color displays typically use a pixel layout with three side-by-side subpixels emitting red (R), green (G), and blue (B) colors. However, this configuration limits the resolution especially in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) applications. To address the issue of low pixel density in display technology, this study demonstrated vertically stacked three-terminal (3-T) bottom-emitting tandem OLEDs (sOLED).
