Epidemiologically, one of the most important concerns associated with introducing spp. into the environment and food chain is the presence of asymptomatic carriers. The oncogenic and oncolytic activity of and their lipopolysaccharides (LPSs) is important and research on this topic is needed.

Objective: To assess the effect of anti-androgens on breast development. We hypothesized this would be greater in those treated with cyproterone acetate than spironolactone due to more potent androgen receptor antagonism and suppression of serum total testosterone concentrations.

Background: Accurate estimation of breast volume is important as researchers aim to achieve optimal feminization for transfeminine people. The Breast Idea Volume Estimator (BIVE) application allows estimation of breast volume using two-dimensional (2D) photographs but has not been validated in the chests of people who have undergone testosterone-mediated puberty.
Methods: To estimate breast volume, clinical photographs and 3D scans were collected at baseline and 6 months, as a prespecified secondary outcome of a randomized clinical trial of antiandrogen therapy in transfeminine people commencing hormone therapy.
Background: Low back pain (LBP) is one of the most common problems of public health and creates a burden globally. The aim was to assess the Polish population's back pain prevention behaviors and beliefs and to examine how these health behaviors and beliefs vary across sociodemographic factors and physical activity.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey was carried out among 208 randomly selected patients of the public general practitioner clinic.
An enzyme-promoted addition of nitromethane to the appropriate phosphorylated imine (aza-Henry reaction) intended to be used in the synthesis of the title phosphoemeriamine, a phospha-analog of emeriamine (aminocarnitine), failed due to the tautomerization of the imine to the corresponding enamine. Nevertheless, both enantiomers of phosphoemeriamine were synthesized in high yield and enantiomeric purity using another chemoenzymatic approach, starting with a crucial step involving a CAL-B-mediated acetylation of the appropriate racemic precursor-diethyl 2-amino-3-dimethylaminopropylphosphonate-under kinetic resolution conditions. The enzymatic reaction was very efficient and provided each enantiomeric product in acceptable yield and with enantiomeric excess of 91 and 92%.
