For several years, our society has been experiencing an aging of the population. Concurrently, there has been an observable increase in the population of nursing homes (EHPAD). The context of a global epidemic and the public health measures implemented to address it have underscored the vulnerability of our elderly population and the need for remote consultations to ensure continuity of care.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: The main purpose of the study is to comprehensively evaluate population-level survival disparities stage-by-stage, according to specific anatomical colon segments, and based on prognosis as defined by lymph nodes among patients who have undergone curative resection for non-metastatic colon cancer.
Methods: The study was conducted from the Surveillance Epidemiology and End Result (SEER) program from the USA. Patients who underwent surgery for colon adenocarcinoma between 2000 and 2019 were identified.
RAG2 deficiency is characterized by a lack of B and T lymphocytes, causing severe lethal infections. Currently, RAG2 deficiency is treated with a Hematopoietic Stem Cell transplantation (HSCT). Most conditioning regimens used before HSCT consist of alkylating myelotoxic agents with or without irradiation and affect growth and development of pediatric patients.

: There are several endovascular treatment options to treat aortic arch and thoracic aortic pathologies with custom-made or surgeon-modified aortic stent grafts. This study seeks to assess endovascular treatment methods for aortic arch and thoracic aortic pathologies with no acceptable proximal landing zone for standard thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR), comparing different treatment methods and evaluating technical success, intraoperative parameters and short-term outcomes. : All patients undergoing elective or emergency endovascular treatment of aortic arch and thoracic aortic pathologies, with no acceptable landing zone for standard TEVAR, between 1 January 2010 and 31 March 2024, at the University Hospital Düsseldorf, Germany were included.
