Introduction: Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is the most common form of leukemia in adults in Western countries, with a median age at diagnosis of 72 years. This guide, developed by the Spanish Group for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (GELLC), addresses the most relevant aspects of CLL, with the objectives of facilitating and aiding the diagnostic process, establishing therapeutic recommendations for choosing the best treatment for each type of patient, as well as standardizing the management of CLL and ensuring equity across different hospitals in terms of the use of the various available treatment regimens.
Methodology: The references obtained were classified according to the level of evidence and following the criteria established by the Agency for Health Research and Quality, and the recommendations were classified according to the criteria of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN).
Background: Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) is increasingly used as a bridge to lung transplantation. Although other mechanical circulatory support devices have been associated with anti-human leukocyte antigen antibody formation, including de novo donor-specific antibodies (dnDSA), it is unknown whether ECMO is a sensitizing exposure.
Methods: This was a single-center retrospective cohort study of lung transplant recipients.
Purpose: Advanced prostate cancer (PCa) is invariably fatal with the androgen receptor (AR) being a major therapeutic target. AR signaling inhibitors have improved overall survival for men with advanced PCa, but treatment resistance is inevitable and includes reactivation of AR signaling. Novel therapeutic approaches targeting these mechanisms to block tumor growth is an urgent unmet clinical need.

The SCN entrain to the environmental 24-h light-dark (LD) cycle and drive daily rhythms of internal synchronizers such as core body temperature, hypothalamic-hypophysary hormones, sympathetic/parasympathetic activity, as well as behavioral and feeding-fasting rhythms, which supply signals setting core molecular clocks at central and peripheral tissues. Steady phase relationships between the SCN and peripheral oscillators keep homeostatic processes such as microbiota/microbiome composition/activity, metabolic supply/demand, energy balance, immunoinflammatory process, sleep amount and quality, psychophysiological stress, etc.
