Background: Energy communities facilitate several advantages, including energy autonomy, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, poverty mitigation, and regional economic development. They also empower citizens with decision-making and co-ownership prospects in community renewable projects. Integrating renewable energy sources and sector coupling is a crucial strategy for flexible energy systems.

A Multi-Institutional Study of Magnetic Resonance/Ultrasound Fusion-Guided Nanoparticle-Directed Focal Therapy for Prostate Ablation.

Purpose: Focal therapy aims to provide a durable oncologic treatment option for men with prostate cancer (PCa), while preserving their quality of life. Most focal therapy modalities rely on the direct tissue effect, resulting in a possible nontargeted approach to ablation. Here, we report the results of the first human feasibility trial utilizing nanoparticle-directed focal photothermal ablation for PCa.

Disaster response self-efficacy of nursing students: Perceived level and associated factors.

Objectives: The study aimed to assess the level of disaster response self-efficacy (DRSE) among nursing students in Bangladesh and examine the factors influencing their level of DRSE.

Methods: A cross-sectional study design was used for this research. A self-administered descriptive structured questionnaire was used to collect survey data from 573 students of nursing colleges in four districts: Chattogram, Dhaka, Khulna, and Rajshahi.

Impact of global trade agreements on agricultural producer prices in Asian countries.

Following global trade agreements, Asian countries have been highly aggressive in implementing free trade. These conditions will impact all sectors, including agriculture. This study aims to examine the impact of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), World Trade Organization membership (WTO), and the Doha Round implementations on agricultural producer prices in Asian countries (PPI).
