A Review on Sustainable Slow-Release N, P, K Fertilizer Hydrogels for Smart Agriculture.

The agricultural sector of any country plays a pivotal role in its economy. Irrigation and the provision of appropriate nutrient levels in soil are essential for optimizing plant growth and enhancing crop productivity. To support the increasing need for food due to the growing population worldwide, synthetic fertilizers have been widely used in the agricultural sector.

Towards a long-term stable MAPbBr single crystal-based photoconductor with a high on/off ratio and detectivity.

Photodetectors based on lead halide perovskites often show excellent performance but poor stability. Herein, we demonstrate a photodetector based on MAPbBr single crystals passivated with an ultrathin layer of PbSO, which shows superior detectivity and on/off ratios compared to the control device due to the combined effect of lower surface traps, reduced recombination and low dark current. In addition, the device retained ∼56% of its initial * with an impressive on/off ratio of ∼801 after one year compared to ∼22% of * and an on/off ratio of ∼6 of the control device.

Isolated Tuberculous Osteomyelitis of Calcaneus in an Immune-Competent Adult Patient With Literature Review: A Case Report.

Case: We present a case of isolated tuberculous osteomyelitis of the calcaneus in an immune-competent adult patient with a 5-year follow-up. The diagnosis was established by core needle aspiration and biopsy. He was treated with antituberculous chemotherapy and immobilization.

A Structural Proteomics Exploration of Synphilin-1 and Alpha-Synuclein Interaction in Pathogenesis of Parkinson's Disease.

Pathological significance of interaction of Synphilin-1 with mutated alpha-synuclein is well known to have serious consequences in causing the formation of inclusion bodies that are linked to Parkinson's disease (PD). Information extracted so far pointed out that specific mutations, A53T, A30P, and E46K, in alpha-synuclein promote such interactions. However, a detailed structural study of this interaction is pending due to the unavailability of the complete structures of the large protein Synphilin-1 of chain length 919 residues and the mutated alpha-synuclein having all the reported specific mutations so far.

Single (375 mg/m) vs. double dose of rituximab along with mycophenolate mofetil for children with steroid-dependent/frequently relapsing nephrotic syndrome: a multicentre open-label randomized controlled trial.

Background: Optimal dosing of rituximab when given with mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) for frequently relapsing nephrotic syndrome/steroid-dependent nephrotic syndrome (FRNS/SDNS) remains uncertain.

Methods: This was a prospective, non-inferiority, open-label randomized controlled multicentre study. Children (2-18 years old) with difficult FRNS/SDNS were randomized to group A (rituximab 375 mg/m once) or group B (rituximab 375 mg/m twice; 7-14 days apart) followed by continuous MMF and 3 months of tapered steroids.
