Background/objectives: Bone marrow (BM) adipocytes are critical in progressing solid tumor metastases and hematological malignancies across pediatric to aging populations. Single-point biopsies remain the gold standard for monitoring BM diseases, including hematologic malignancies, but are limited in capturing the full complexity of loco-regional and global BM microenvironments. Non-invasive imaging techniques like Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), could offer valuable alternatives for real-time evaluation of BM diseases in both preclinical translational and clinical studies.

Background: This study examines the effects of various complementary light spectra on the growth, development, antioxidant activity, and nutrient absorption in strawberry plants under stress conditions. Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) were used to provide specific wavelengths, including monochromatic blue (460 nm), monochromatic red (660 nm), a dichromatic mix of blue and red (1:3 ratio), full-spectrum white light (400-700 nm), and ambient light as a control (no LED treatment). The stress treatments applied were: control (no stress), salinity (80 mM NaCl), alkalinity (40 mM NaHCO₃), and a combined salinity/alkalinity condition.

Troublesome Weight Loss: A Case Report of Large Gastric Phytobezoar.

Gastric bezoar is a very rare clinical condition and hard to treat. Phytobezoars are one of the most common types of bezoars, which happens with the consumption of indigestible fibers. In this report, we presented an elderly man with gastric phytobezoar who presented with peptic ulcer and was treated successfully with proton pump inhibitor (PPI) and Coca-Cola.

Background: Bladder cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world and is associated with high treatment costs and mortality. The role of different enzymes and molecules in this cancer has been the subject of extensive research in recent years. Among these, the role of metabolic enzymes such as FASN and LDH has been studied less than others.
