Objectives: To describe the knowledge, barriers and acceptability factors of parents and general practitioners about HPV vaccination amongst boys in Reunion Island, in order to adapt primary prevention locally.

Methods: This was a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, observational study involving 88 parents of boys aged 11 to 19 and 81 general practitioners based in Reunion Island. Both populations volunteered to answer a questionnaire available online or on paper.

Objective: The aim of this study was to identify the health education needs of people suffering from several pathologies including HIV and/or hepatitis, living in vulnerable conditions in Therapeutic Coordination Apartments (known in French as Appartements de Coordination Thérapeutique under the acronym ACT).

Method: This article is based on a qualitative and collaborative study involving in research team people living in ACT, professionals of ACT and academics. Interview guides based on the literature were developed.

Television is an important mediator of cultural practices and contributes to the construction of social representations, including representations of science. Considering that teenagers are a main target audience, here we analyze how TV content can help build perceptions of science among these young people. Twelve focus groups were held with students from public and private schools in three Brazilian cities: Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais), and Belém (Pará).
