Article Synopsis
  • AI techniques are increasingly utilized in medical diagnostics, particularly for early detection of Hypertension (HTN), a significant global health concern.
  • Automated detection methods leverage socio-demographic, clinical, and physiological data, as well as imaging modalities to identify initial and secondary HTN.
  • This systematic review reveals that most studies focus on single-modality approaches, while few explore multi-modal data integration, highlighting the need for future research to enhance early HTN detection systems.

The present study aimed to compare the picture quality and color accuracy of three cameras, namely, Point and shoot, DSLR and mobile cameras, and determine the most suitable camera for dental photography (intra-orally and for casts). A computer program, namely, NRM (No-Reference matrix BRISQUE), was used to evaluate the quality of the photos taken by three cameras. Further, color accuracy was determined by computation of total color difference ( by identifying the L∗a∗b∗ values.

Ultrasound imaging is one of the most common visualizing tools used by radiologists to identify the location of thyroid nodules. However, visual assessment of nodules is difficult and often affected by inter- and intra-observer variabilities. Thus, a computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) system can be helpful to cross-verify the severity of nodules.
