Inclusion of Trainee Stakeholders Is Necessary for Effective Change in Health-Service-Psychology Internship Training.

In a recent call to action, we described pressing issues in the health-service-psychology (HSP) internship from the perspective of interns. In our article, we sought to initiate a dialogue that would include trainees and bring about concrete changes. The commentaries on our article are a testament to the readiness of the field to engage in such a dialogue, and we applaud the actionable recommendations that they make.

Consequently, the presence of functional low molecular weight (LMW) metal-ligand complexes has been overlooked in terms of their roles in metallobiochemistry, particularly within cells.

Therapist-Driven Telephone Call Outreach to Improve Depression Remission in a Federally Qualified Health Center.

The authors examined the feasibility and impact of a therapist-driven outreach program on depression outcomes in a primary care clinic. Patients with a diagnosis of depression but missing a 1-year follow-up Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) screening were rescreened via telephone. Eligible patients (N=241) were contacted, and implementation rates and outcomes, along with feasibility, were assessed.

Sexual and Reproductive Justice and Health Equity for LGBTQ+ Women.

LGBTQ+ women have long been overlooked in sexual and reproductive health research. However, recent research has established that LGBTQ+ women have unique and specific needs that need to be addressed in order to improve effectiveness of sexual health education and practice with this historically and presently underserved population. Informed by a reproductive justice framework coupled with liberation psychology theory, this review discusses the current state of sexual and reproductive health and technologies among LGBTQ+ women.

Comparison of long-acting injectable antipsychotics with oral antipsychotics and hospital readmission rates in pediatric patients.

Introduction: Studies indicate that long-acting injectable antipsychotics (LAIAs) reduce the risk of relapse and hospitalization compared with oral antipsychotics (APs) in adults. Oral formulations of APs are well-studied in the pediatric population, but little is known regarding the off-label use of LAIAs in this population.

Methods: This retrospective chart review evaluated readmission rates for pediatric patients admitted to a psychiatric ward in a large academic hospital between January 1, 2015, and December 1, 2022, requiring AP therapy.
