In this study, we have investigated the thermal transport characteristics of single-layer tungsten disulfide, WSnanoribbons (SLTDSNRs) using equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations with the help of Green-Kubo formulation. Using Stillinger-Weber (SW) inter-atomic potential, the calculated room temperature thermal conductivities of 15 nm × 4 nm pristine zigzag and armchair SLTDSNRs are 126 ± 10 W mKand 110 ± 6 W mK, respectively. We have explored the dependency of thermal conductivity on temperature, width, and length of the nanoribbon.

Boswellic acids have been recognized as anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory agents with potentials to control autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. However, their effects on T cell proliferation and activation are not fully elucidated. In this study, we investigated effects of individual compounds including β-Boswellic acids (β-BA), 11-keto-β-Boswellic acid (β-KBA), 3-O-acetyl β-Boswellic acids (β-ABA), and 3-O-acetyl-11-keto-β-Boswellic acid (β-AKBA) on human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and their potential role in modulating immune responses.

Purpose: Diabetes mellitus (DM) increases the risk of morbidity and mortality after liver resection. Albuminuria is associated with a higher risk for all-cause and cardiovascular mortality. This study evaluated albuminuria as a predictor of the outcome of living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) in patients with pre-existing DM.

Transition metal dichalcogenides is an emerging 2D semiconducting material group which has excellent physical properties in the ultimately scaled thickness dimension. Specifically, van der Waals heterostructures hold the great promise in further advancing both the fundamental scientific knowledge and practical technological applications of 2D materials. Although 2D materials have been extensively studied for various sensing applications, temperature sensing still remains relatively unexplored.
