Synthetic lethality in homologous recombination (HR)-deficient cancers caused by Poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase inhibitors (PARPi) has been classically attributed to its role in DNA repair. The mode of action of PARPi and resistance thereof are now believed to be predominantly replication associated. Therefore, effective combinatorial approaches of targeting replication fork processing along with HR-downregulation to target HR-proficient and possibly PARPi-resistant tumors are warranted.

Therefore, this study aimed to explore the potential effects of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and L-carnitine co-supplementation on migraine symptoms, mental health, and life quality in women with migraine.
Methods: In this randomized, triple-blind, placebo-controlled trial, 80 women with migraine were randomly assigned to receive either ALA (1000 mg) plus L-carnitine (500 mg) or matching placebos daily for 12 weeks.
Objectives: To analyse, compare and present the 10-year diagnosis-specific antibiotic prescribing trends for paediatric inpatients at a non-teaching hospital (NTH) and a teaching hospital (TH) in India.
Design And Setting: A prospective, observational study of antibiotic prescriptions in paediatric departments of two private-sector hospitals in central India. Inpatients were grouped into clinically confirmed infections, suspected infections and no infections.
Aims: Reconstruction of soft tissues and preservation of the extensor mechanism integrity provide a major challenge following resection of the proximal tibia tumours. We propose a novel surgical technique for neopatellar ligament reconstruction using hamstring tendon in proximal tibia tumour cases. This study details the surgical technique, early clinical and radiological outcomes, and the potential long-term benefits of this innovative reconstructive approach following proximal tibia megaprosthesis implantation.

WHO 2021 classification integrated CDKN2A/B homozygous deletion as a crucial criterion for grading these tumors, emphasizing its prognostic implications. FISH assay is commonly used to assess CDKN2A status, but guidelines for interpreting FISH results for glioma prognostication are not well-defined in the literature.
