Background: Implant free medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction is an increasingly popular technique to address patellar instability. There remains sparse literature on the biomechanical differences between the most common femoral attachment fixation points including Schottle's point, superficial medial collateral ligament, and adductor magnus tendon. This study compared these reconstruction techniques as well as a novel triangle reconstruction integrating both superficial medial collateral ligament and adductor magnus tendon.

The aim of this study was evaluation of contrast agent entrapment in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells and comparison of these results with those determined by standard methods for assessing cell membrane permeability, cell membrane integrity and cell survival following electroporation.
Materials And Methods: Cell membrane permeabilization and cell membrane integrity experiments were performed using YO-PRO-1 dye and propidium iodide, respectively.
Laboratory acoustic emissions (AEs) serve as small-scale analogues to earthquakes, offering fundamental insights into seismic processes. To ensure accurate physical interpretations of AEs, rigorous calibration of the acoustic system is essential. In this paper, we present an empirical calibration technique that quantifies sensor response, instrumentation effects, and path characteristics into a single entity termed instrument apparatus response.

These anomalies stem from abnormal embryological lung development, potentially occurring across various stages of prenatal life. Their natural history can be variable, presenting in a wide range of severity levels and encompassing asymptomatic individuals who remain so until adulthood, as well as those who experience respiratory distress in the neonatal period.
