This study investigated the relative associations of psychosis proneness symptom domains with habitual interpersonal emotion regulation (IER) use in a sample of young adults (n = 420, age 18-29). Multiple regression models showed that attenuated negative symptoms were related to using less, while attenuated positive symptoms and depression were related to using more IER. These findings suggest symptom-specific IER patterns across different symptom dimensions of psychosis proneness.

Background: Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) is a widely used self-report that assesses generalized anxiety disorder symptomatology. Whilst previous studies have reported good-to-excellent psychometric properties across different languages, it remains unclear whether GAD-7 measures the same construct across Western and non-Western countries. Here, we tested the hypothesis that the GAD-7 is measurement invariant across Western and non-Western countries and the hypothesis that a less severe GAD symptomatology can be found in non-Western countries.

Adipose-derived stem cells (ADSC) are nowadays one of the most exploited cells in regenerative medicine. They are fast growing, capable of enhancing axonal elongation, support and locally stimulate Schwann cells (SCs), and protect de-innervated muscles from atrophy after a peripheral nerve injury. With the aim of developing a bio-safe, clinically translatable cell-therapy, we assessed the effect of ADSC pre-expanded with human platelet lysate in an rat model, delivering the cells into a 15 mm critical-size sciatic nerve defect embedded within a laminin-peptide-functionalized hydrogel (Biogelx-IKVAV) wrapped by a poly-ɛ-caprolactone (PCL) nerve conduit.
