Insights into insect predatory behaviour can be inferred indirectly from specimens housed in Natural History Collections. In this work, we document a unique interaction, never recorded before, involving the remains of a Westwood, 1840 ant worker -probably (Smith, 1855)- whose head is firmly attached by its mandibles to an antenna of a female hawk moth (Cramer, 1775) (Sphingidae). This specimen is part of the Entomology Collection at the MNCN-CSIC in Madrid, Spain.

Cet article fait état d'une étude de la portée sur les bienfaits d'un chœur intergénérationnel pour personnes aînées et les stratégies à considérer pour sa mise en place. L'analyse de 16 études sur ce sujet a permis de se familiariser avec les résultats, les recommandations et les pistes de recherche en lien avec le bien-être et le sens de satisfaction que retirent les personnes aînées qui participent à un chœur, de même que des interventions en chant choral à privilégier.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether the reduced force output of a digit during an all-finger grip contraction is due to a decline in voluntary activation. Fifteen young adults ( = 7 females) completed voluntary contractions of the index finger in isolation and all fingers together in a dynamometer capable of separately recording forces from each finger during voluntary and electrically evoked contractions.
