Ambient noise cross-correlation has been widely used to observe post-earthquake temporal velocity variations. Comparative studies are essential for assessing seismic hazards and clarifying the relationship between velocity variation and magnitude. However, very few comparative studies by earthquake magnitude have been conducted, particularly for magnitudes smaller than 6.

Background/aims: Amitriptyline is prescribed off-label for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). We conducted a meta-analysis to assess its efficacy.
Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted until November 10, 2023, using MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science to study the efficacy of amitriptyline in patients with IBS.
Outbreaks of avian pathogens such as Newcastle disease virus, avian influenza virus, and salmonella have a major impact on economies and food security worldwide. Some pathogens also pose a significant zoonotic potential, especially avian influenza viruses. Vaccination plays a key role in controlling many poultry diseases, and there are many vaccines licenced in the United Kingdom for diseases of poultry caused by viruses, bacteria, and parasites.

This study aims to assess the diversity and abundance of small- and medium-sized wild mammal species in Pittachhara Forest in the CHTs. A comprehensive wildlife monitoring survey was conducted in this forest using strategically placed camera traps to identify the wild species diversity, and we evaluated the activity patterns and seasonal variations for the period of February 2023 to August 2024.

Aim: To address this issue, we aimed to synthesize diclofenac conjugates with glucosamine and chitosan, converting the -COOH group into an amide (-CONH-) via a mechanochemical, environmentally friendly method.
Method: In this study, diclofenac acid was first converted to its acid chloride using thionyl chloride under mechanochemical conditions and subsequently reacted with glucosamine base and chitosan.
