Globally, more than 100 countries have adopted net-zero targets. Most studies agree on how this increases the chance of keeping end-of-century global warming below 2°C. However, they typically make assumptions about net-zero targets that do not capture uncertainties related to gas coverage, sector coverage, sinks, and removals.

To accelerate cutaneous wound healing and prevent scarring, regenerative approaches such as injecting a mechanically derived tissue stromal vascular fraction (tSVF) are currently under clinical and laboratory investigations. The aim of our study was to investigate a platform to assess the interaction between skin-derived extracellular matrix (ECM) hydrogels and tSVF and their effects on their microenvironment in the first ten days of culture. A tSVF mixed with ECM hydrogel was cultured for ten days.

Background: Neuropathic pain results from a defect in the somatosensory nervous system caused by a diversity of etiologies. The effect of current treat-ment with analgesics and surgery is limited. Studies report the therapeutic use of adipose tissue-derived components to treat neuropathic pain as a new treatment modality.

The stromal vascular fraction of adipose tissue has gained popularity as regenerative therapy for tissue repair. Both enzymatic and mechanical intraoperative SVF isolation procedures exist. To date, the quest for the preferred isolation procedure persists, due to the absence of standardised yield measurements and a defined clinical threshold.
