Post-surgical hypoparathyroidism (POSH) is a recognised complication of total thyroidectomy, leading to hypocalcaemia and its associated adverse effects. This retrospective study aimed to determine the incidence of POSH and identify perioperative predictors for its development. Data from patients who underwent total or completion thyroidectomy between January 2017 and July 2022 were retrospectively analysed.

Background: Despite the significant progress in the treatment of multiple myeloma (MM), the disease remains untreatable and its cure is still an unmet clinical need. Neoplastic transformation in MM is initiated in the germinal centers (GCs) of secondary lymphoid tissue (SLT) where B cells experience extensive somatic hypermutation induced by follicular dendritic cells (FDCs) and T-cell signals.

Objective: We reason that secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine (SPARC), a common stromal motif expressed by FDCs at the origin (SLTs) and the destination (BM) of MM, plays a role in the pathogenesis of MM, and, here, we sought to investigate this role.

Follicular dendritic cells (FDCs) fundamentally contribute to the formation of synovial ectopic lymphoid-like structures in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) which is associated with poor clinical prognosis. Despite this critical role, regulation of FDC development in the RA synovium and its correlation with synovial pathotype differentiation remained largely unknown. Here, we demonstrate that CNA.

Nitroimidazole compounds are widely used antibiotics to encounter anaerobic bacterial and parasitic infections. The wide usage of antibiotic drugs became an ecological contaminant which in turn into potential monitoring. In this regards, we have designed and developed a new electrochemical sensing probe to monitor an antiprotozoal drug, ornidazole (ODZ), with the aid of a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) integrated with manganese molybdate nanorods (MnMoO) decorated graphene nanosheets (GNS) hybrid materials that prepared by feasible probe sonochemical method (parameters: 2-4 W, 5 mV amp, 20 kHz).

In the present work, we reported a one pot simple colloidal-gel synthesis of molybdenum bismuth vanadate (MoBiVO). The charge transfer property of MoBiVO was improved by developing a composite with graphene oxide (GO) through sonochemical technique. The optical and morphological analysis revealed that successful formation of GO-MoBiVO composite without any other filth.
