The combination of venetoclax plus azacitidine (VTX-AZA) is FDA-approved to treat patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) aged ≥75 years and has become the standard of care for AML patients. However, the literature has not reported an analytical method for determining VTX-AZA in plasma samples. Therefore, developing an accurate and sensitive bioanalytical assay to quantify VTX-AZA in plasma is important.

Clinical heterogeneity among patients in addiction treatment settings represents a challenge as most of the treatment programs are designed to treat substance use disorders (SUD) generally rather than offering more tailored approaches addressing individual patient needs. Systematic characterization of clinical heterogeneity may permit more individualized care paths toward improving outcomes. Data were collected from a large inpatient SUD treatment program between April 2018 and March 2020 ( = 1519).

This paper introduces compact Printed Ridge Gap Waveguide (PRGW) phase shifters tailored for millimeter-wave applications, with a focus on achieving wide operating bandwidth, and improved matching and phase balance compared to single-layer technology. This study proposes a unique approach to achieve the required phase shift in PRGW technology, which has not been previously explored. This study also introduces a novel analytical approach to calculate the cutoff frequency and propagation constant of the PRGW structure, a method not previously addressed.

Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is one of the most frequently used food additives that endanger public health. The antioxidant, hyperlipidemic, and cytoprotective properties of seeds (LSS) as a natural remedy can minimize the harmful effects of MSG. This study investigated the potential protective effect of LSS against MSG-induced hepatotoxicity in rats.

Contact tracing is an effective method for mitigating the infectious diseases spread and it played a crucial role in reducing COVID-19 outbreak. Since the pandemic, there has been an increased concern regarding people's health in hospital and office settings, as these limited air exchange spaces provide a conductive medium for virus spread. Various technologies were used to recognize close contacts autonomously, in addition, multiple machine learning attempts were carried out to determine proximity in contact tracing.
