Excessive and uncontrolled application of agrochemicals has resulted in contamination of terrestrial and aquatic environments. In the past decade, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been studied as agrochemical release systems to enhance efficiency while reducing the leaching of toxic molecules to the environment. In this work, we take a further step and use organic agrochemicals as linkers in the preparation of MOFs, which we have called AgroMOFs.

Fluorescent reporters for glutamate release and postsynaptic Ca signaling are essential tools for quantifying synapse functional heterogeneity across neurons and circuits. However, leveraging these probes for neuroscience requires scalable experimental frameworks. Here, we devised a high-throughput approach to efficiently collect and analyze hundreds of optical recordings of glutamate release activity at presynaptic boutons in cultured rat hippocampal neurons.

Unlabelled: Biomechanical analysis of gait encompasses the measurement of spatiotemporal (STVs), kinematics, and kinetics variables. The behavior of these variables can provide clinicians and researchers with insights into the normality or alteration of this motor act across different populations. However, there is a lack of reference data for the Chilean population.
