Background And Aim: Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the most common lung cancer found in elderly patients. Aging and chronic inflammation are related to its pathogenesis. Functional status, lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio describe a chronic inflammation and correlate to the survival of older adults with advanced-stage (IIIB-IV) NSCLC.

This insult induces rapid local responses, such as dermal inflammation, keratinocyte cell death, and epidermal thickening, all of which have traditionally been associated with DNA damage response signaling. Another stress response that is activated by UVB light is the ribotoxic stress response (RSR), which depends on the ribosome-associated mitogen-activated protein 3 kinases (MAP3K) ZAKα and culminates in p38 and JNK activation.

The challenges in transferring patients from non-PCI centers include not only potential delays beyond 120 min but also the risk of overwhelming the resources at the PPCI hospital. We report a novel strategy implemented within the Serdang STEMI Network involving immediate transfer of patients back to the originating hospitals within 2 h post procedure.

(2) Methods: Data on demographics, religiosity, family dynamics, and perceptions of public health efforts were collected through an online survey and compared to the rates of vaccine hesitancy and refusal. (3) Results: Income and sex were significantly associated with vaccine hesitancy.

Using response surface methodology approach, an optimization method was employed to achieve the optimal antibacterial formulation, with Ch, De, and GE identified as key variables in the Design of Experiment. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analyses elucidated interactions among these primary components within the films, while thermogravimetric analysis confirmed the enhanced thermal stability of GE-coated film formulations (Ch/De/GE).
