Introduction: This study evaluates cochleovestibular implants (CVI) for improving auditory and vestibular function in patients with bilateral vestibulopathy and severe-to-profound hearing loss. CVI uniquely combines auditory and vestibular stimulation, offering a potential solution for dual impairments in hearing and balance.
Methods: Ten patients underwent CVI implantation.
Facial nerve dysfunction (FND) is a well-recognized but poorly documented complication of mandibular distraction osteogenesis (MDO) for Robin sequence (RS). This study aims to document the authors' experiences with FND and identify risk factors associated with this adverse event. A retrospective review of a prospectively gathered database was performed to identify patients with RS who underwent MDO at the authors' institution from March 2016 to June 2023.

Multiple dehiscences of the otic capsule can exhibit behavior similar to Ménière's disease, not only from a clinical perspective but also in the results of audiovestibular tests. Furthermore, we aim to explore a potential association with the development of radiologically defined endolymphatic hydrops (EH).
