Background: Vascularized lymph node transfer (VLNT) is a relatively well-established microsurgical treatment for lymphedema that is especially beneficial for advanced cases in which lymphovenous anastomosis is not indicated due to lymphatic vessel sclerosis. When VLNT is performed without a skin paddle, such as a buried flap, the possibilities for postoperative monitoring are limited. The aim of our study was to evaluate the use of ultra-high-frequency color Doppler ultrasound with 3D reconstruction in a pedicled axillary lymph node flap.

Background And Objective: Different factors may influence colonoscopy performance measures. We aimed to analyze procedure- and endoscopist-related factors associated with detection of colorectal lesions and whether these factors have a similar influence in the context of different colonoscopy indications: positive fecal immunochemical test (+FIT) and post-polypectomy surveillance colonoscopies.

Methods: This multicenter cross-sectional study included adults aged 40-80 years.

B-type carbonate apatite (CAp) coatings were formed on as-cast and T4-treated Mg-Zn ( = 1, 5, and 7 wt %) alloys containing various sized Zn-rich second phase to improve the corrosion resistance and biocompatibility. The CAp coating grew uniformly on the alloys with a thickness of 1.1-1.

Background: We compared oral fluid (OF) and urine (UR) for detection of fentanyl (FEN) use in addiction medicine-psychiatry (AMP) clinics.

Methods: We measured FEN and norfentanyl (NRFEN) in UR with a limit of detection (LOD) of 2.0 µg/L and FEN in OF with an LOD of 0.
