High prevalence of hypertrophic rhinitis makes more topical the problem of search of new, more effective means of treatment this pathology. 37 patients with hypertrophic rhinitis were examined. The clinical examination included the study of complaints and objective visual indicators associated with hypertrophic rhinitis.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTotal of 62 patients have been examined, out of which 34 patients had chronic catarrhal rhinitis, and 28 patients - perennial allergic rhinitis. It has been established that intranasal aerosol-therapy with cyclopheron induced expressed improvement of bronchial permeability in these patients, as well as increase of reserve possibilities of lungs and decrease, up to complete elimination, of arterial and venous hypoxemia. Above positive shifts were significant in chronic catarrhal rhinitis.

Recently the number of patients with nasal cavity diseases has significantly increased mainly due to the chronic rhinitis. Due to the topical nature of the problem it is necessary to develop new methods of the treatment of chronic rhinitis and to use physiotherapeutic factors which have no side effects of chemotherapy. View Article and Find Full Text PDFIt is shown that in 0,5 M NaCl 8 M CH3COOH heat absorption and the second structure alteration in a heated solution proceed between two stages following one another, and besides, salts not only decrease the macromolecule denaturation temperature in total, but produce different destabilization effect on different regions. The presence of the thermostable domain in the macromolecule helical part permits investigation of the folding mechanism of the triple collagen helix under partial denaturation. The localization and biological role of the stable domain in the triple helix formation are suggested.
