The three distinct entities of importance are the former Lyell's syndrome, now identified as SJS-TEN syndrome (Stevens-Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis), the DRESS syndrome (drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms), and the AGEP syndrome (acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis).
