Appendiceal mucoceles are rare tumors with diverse presentations and clinical implications. Generally, mucoceles are discovered on imaging or intraoperatively, but, rarely, can be found on colonoscopy. Appendectomy is the recommended next step in management, followed by subsequent treatment according to guidelines dictated by pathology findings.

Objectives: Reflex anoxic syncope is the result of an overreaction of the vagal system, resulting in hypotension and bradycardia or brief cardiac arrest. Because of the benign character and the absence of complications in short or long term, treatment is only necessary in case of frequent or severe clinical presentation. This research aimed to evaluate the association between the monthly consumption of fish (differentiated by type) and both gestational and neonatal outcomes. Women who were admitted for delivery in the last 6 months of 2023 were prospectively included and divided according to type of fish consumed (based on DHA and mercury content) and frequency of consumption. Neonatal outcomes included weight, length, head circumference, and 1st and 5th minute Apgar scores.
