Multiple lines of evidence have linked oxidative stress, tau pathology and neuronal cell cycle re-activation to Alzheimer's disease (AD). While a prevailing idea is that oxidative stress-induced neuronal cell cycle reactivation acts as an upstream trigger for pathological tau phosphorylation, others have identified tau as an inducer of cell cycle abnormalities in both mitotic and postmitotic conditions. In addition, nuclear hypophosphorylated tau has been identified as a key player in the DNA damage response to oxidative stress.

Hence, the aims of this work were (i) to evaluate the MTKi-327 nanosuspension for parenteral and oral administrations and (ii) to compare this nanosuspension with other nanocarriers in terms of anti-cancer efficacy and pharmacokinetics. Therefore, four formulations of MTKi-327 were studied: (i) PEGylated PLGA-based nanoparticles, (ii) self-assembling PEG₇₅₀-p-(CL-co-TMC) polymeric micelles, (iii) nanosuspensions of MTKi-327; and (iv) Captisol solution (pH=3.

Intravenous injection of 2 x 10(8) DBA/2 spleen cells into adult intact (C57BL/6 x DBA/2) F1 mice results in a stimulatory graft-versus-host reaction (GVHR) linked to the recognition by donor CD4+ T cells of Ia alloantigens on host B cells. In the experiments presented here, we found that this GVHR is associated with a major increase in IgE serum levels which was already present 7 days after the cell transfer. At 6 weeks, mean IgE levels were more than 200-fold above the control values.

Improvements are that the database can be interrogated for any type of information, not just keywords. Also, recombinant DNA constructions can be represented in a simplified 'shorthand', whereafter a program assembles the full nucleotide sequence from the contributing fragments, which may be obtained from nucleotide sequence databases.
