[Principles of organizational activities of centralized diagnostic services].

The main provision of a stage-type organization of the diagnostic-assistance in regions as well as the key requirements applicable to optimizing the laboratory instrument structure, as related with performing various diagnostic tests, were studied; this ensured an essential increase in the annual average utilization per one laboratory instrument. The training of doctors, engineers and labor stimulation system were in the focus of attention.

[Evaluation of the diagnostic potential of district health care facilities in the Krasnodar Territory].

The paper gives the results of the work and state of matters with diagnostic resources at medical institutions of the Krasnodar Territory. Statistical data for 5 years served as the basis for a cost-effectiveness analysis of use of the diagnostic equipment in different medical institutions. The results of effectiveness of the equipment use were proved to be higher in diagnostic centers than in other types of treatment-and-prophylactic institutions.
