The discipline of ecology and evolutionary biology (EEB) has long grappled with issues of inclusivity and representation, particularly for individuals with systematically excluded and marginalized backgrounds or identities. For example, significant representation disparities still persist that disproportionately affect women and gender minorities; Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC); individuals with disabilities; and people who are LGBTQIA+. Recent calls for action have urged the EEB community to directly address issues of representation, inclusion, justice, and equity.

Among factors affecting these shortages are undergraduate and graduate curricula that include pediatric content and clinical experiences.
Method: A narrative review was conducted to examine the state of the pediatric nursing workforce, describe curricular models in undergraduate and graduate programs, and determine the effects of these models on pediatric content and clinical experiences as well as subsequent employment in pediatric nursing.
Global health education is important for addressing health inequities nationally and internationally. Physician shortages in underserved areas suggest more exposure during training is needed. To study the impact of a global health training program on residents' perceived preparedness and intention to care for underserved populations.

In 2021, The Spot modified practices to improve engagement including providing extended prescriptions, reducing frequency of toxicology testing, giving up to six months to stabilize on medication, offering maximum doses (up to 32 mg total) daily, and utilizing telemedicine. This study characterizes care retention by examining both the total time in care and the percentage of time with buprenorphine prescription coverage during these practice changes, and examines factors associated with retention.
