Unlabelled: Engineered three-dimensional (3D) tissue culture platforms are useful for reproducing and elucidating complex in vivo biological phenomena. Spheroids, 3D aggregates of living cells, are produced based on physicochemical or microfabrication technologies and are commonly used even in cancer pathology research. However, conventional methods have difficulties in constructing 3D structures depending on the cell types, and require specialized techniques/lab know-how to reproducibly control the spheroid size and shape.

Nevertheless, the efficacy of their concomitant treatments is still controversial for a decade. In the guidelines of the Japanese Society of Phlebology, concomitant phlebectomy of tributary varicose veins with ETA is described that it is not recommended officially.

Although a retrospective study showed the efficacy of endovascular therapy beyond 24 hours from the last known well, it remains unclear whether endovascular therapy is effective. Extending the time window of Endovascular therapy in the Triage of Late Presenting Strokes beyond 24 h (SKIP-EXTEND trial) aimed to clarify the efficacy of endovascular therapy compared to the best medical management.

This retrospective study evaluated the diagnostic accuracy of DFI-EUS and its ability to evaluate the blood flow of MNs in IPMNs. Between April 2021 and September 2023, 68 patients with MNs in IPMNs observed on EUS images were retrospectively analyzed.

More than 80 oocytes were recovered from 12-14-week-old immature female rabbits. In particular, an average of more than 100 oocytes were recovered from 13-week-old immature female rabbits.
