The development of advanced models for assessing liver toxicity and drug responses is crucial for personalized medicine and preclinical drug development. 3D bioprinting technology provides opportunities to create human liver models that are suitable for conducting high-throughput screening for liver toxicity. In this study, we fabricated a humanized liver model using human-induced hepatocytes (hiHeps) derived from human fibroblasts via a rapid and efficient reprogramming process.

Objective: To investigate the fluctuations in the population density of and changes in the population density of in different geographical areas and different breeding habitats in Guangdong Province from 2018 to 2023, so as to provide insights into prevention and control of mosquito-borne infectious diseases in the province.

Methods: surveillance sites were assigned in 1 609 townships (streets) from 121 districts (counties) of 21 cities in Guangdong Province during the period between March and November from 2018 to 2023. The surveillance of the population density of was performed once a month in each surveillance site, and once a month in specific settings in cities where dengue were highly prevalent in Guangdong Province from December to February of the next year during the period from 2018 through 2023.

BACKGROUND Butorphanol, an opioid receptor agonist and antagonist, is widely used for post-cesarean section analgesia in the form of intravenous or intramuscular injection, but nasal sprays are less used. This study aimed to evaluate the analgesic effect of butorphanol nasal spray on uterine contraction pain after cesarean section and explore its effect on postpartum prolactin secretion. MATERIAL AND METHODS We randomly divided 120 patients scheduled for cesarean section into 3 groups (40 per group): intranasal saline (control), butorphanol intranasal (BI), and butorphanol pumped intravenously (BV).

Emerging evidence has shown that the N-methyladenosine (mA) modification of RNA plays key roles in tumorigenesis and the progression of various cancers. However, the potential roles of the mA modification of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in pancreatic cancer (PaCa) are still unknown. To analyze the prognostic value of mA-related lncRNAs in PaCa, an m6A-related lncRNA signature was constructed as a risk model via Pearson's correlation and univariate Cox regression analyses in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database.
