Using the cation-exchange method, colloidal PbS nanoribbons are converted completely into CdS nanoribbons. This process expands the emission spectrum of the nanoribbons from infrared to visible. Transfusion of granulocyte concentrates (GC) is an alternative therapy for neutropenic patients with life-threatening infections.
