Power devices are operated under harsh conditions, such as high currents and voltages, and so degradation of these devices is an important issue. Our group previously found significant increases in reverse leakage current after applying continuous forward current stress to GaN p-n junctions. In the present study, we identified the type of threading dislocations that provide pathways for this reverse leakage current.

Matrix-type composite particle for controlled drug release can readily be prepared through a totally dry process by simple anaerobic mechanical vibration of mechanoradical-containing ethylcellulose (EC) with theophylline powder due to occurrence of collision-induced radical-radical coupling reaction to form interparticle matrices, as well as the formation of interparticle network when solid-state vinyl monomer was further added.

Twenty patients with previously untreated advanced aggressive or relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin's lymphoma were treated with the MECHOP-BM regimen (MCNU, etoposide, cyclophosphamide, adriamycin, vincristine, prednisolone, bleomycin and methotrexate). Of the 18 patients treated with the MECHOP-BM, the response rate was 78% and complete response (CR) was attained in 33%. Among these CR patients, one patient relapsed, but the other patients continued to show CR (59-243 days, medium 178 days).
