The spread of antibiotic resistance (ABR) via surface waters is of increasing concern. Large-scale studies investigating ABR drivers in different water bodies and habitats with uniform quantitative methods are largely missing. Here, we present a comprehensive investigation on ABR occurrence and drivers in water and biofilms of four Austrian rivers over a one-year-cycle using a harmonised quantitative tool-box and study-design.

T-cell response plays an important role in SARS-CoV-2 immunogenicity. For people living with HIV (PWH) and solid organ transplant (SOT) recipients there is limited evidence on the reliability of commercially available T-cell tests. We assessed 173 blood samples from 81 participants (62 samples from 35 PWH; 111 samples from 46 SOT recipients [lung and kidney]) with two commercial SARS-CoV-2 Interferon-γ (IFN-γ) release assays (IGRA; SARS-CoV-2 IGRA by Euroimmun, and IGRA SARS-CoV-2 by Roche).

Introduction: Tertiary prevention through physical activity and psychosocial support can positively impact patient outcomes, such as physical function and quality of life (QoL). However, more research is required on the effectiveness of strategies designed to increase the uptake of tertiary prevention programmes among cancer patients. Here, we present the protocol for a single-centre, randomised controlled pilot trial testing the preliminary effectiveness of social prescription and virtual patient information in increasing tertiary prevention among cancer patients and support persons (SPs) (ESPRIT "ffectiveness of a ocial escription and virtual patient nformation in increasing ertiary prevention" pilot trial).

Background: The diagnosis of rare uterine leiomyosarcoma (uLMS) remains a challenge given the high incidence rates of benign uterine tumors such as leiomyoma (LM). In the last decade, several clinical scores and blood serum markers have been proposed. The aim of this study is to validate and update the pLMS clinical scoring system, evaluating the accuracy of the scoring system by Zhang et al.
