Background: The aim of this study was to determine the reference intervals of 14 clinical biochemistry tests in healthy individuals aged 18 - 65 years. The reference intervals determined by using direct and indirect methods were compared with each other and the manufacturer's RI in terms of gender.
Methods: Blood was collected from 302 reference subjects selected on the basis of admission and exclusion criteria based on the procedures set out in document C28-A3, and 14 clinical chemistry tests were performed using the analytical systems available in our laboratory.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a prevalent neurodevelopmental condition for which no prenatal or early life screening tests exist. Early life recognition of ASD is key to accessing behavioral intervention when brain plasticity is at its peak. The purpose of our study was to systematically review the literature researching parental perspectives around early life screening for autism and specifically genetic testing.

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the demographic, clinical and laboratory characteristics of children during the pandemic, and determine the predictors of COVID-19 and moderate-to-severe disease.
Material And Methods: This retrospective cohort study included all consecutive COVID-19 cases in patients aged <18 years who presented to the Pediatric Emergency Department at Haseki Training and Research Hospital (Istanbul, Turkey) between March 15 and May 1, 2020, and underwent severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis of oro-nasopharyngeal swabs (n = 1137).
Objective: The study aimed to investigate the predictive power of serum corin levels for distinguishing between hypertensive urgency (HU) and hypertensive emergency (HE) in patients with hypertensive crisis (HC) admitted to the emergency department.
Methods: A total of 120 consecutive consenting adult patients diagnosed with HC and 55 age- and sex-matched healthy controls were enrolled. Blood pressure measurements [(systolic, diastolic, and mean arterial pressure (MAP)] and the evidence of end-organ damage at the first admission were recorded.
