Soil salinity negatively affects plant growth and leads to soil degradation. Saline lands result in low agricultural productivity, affecting the well-being of farmers and the economic situation in the region. The prediction of soil salinization dynamics plays a crucial role in sustainable development of agricultural regions, in preserving the ecosystems, and in improving irrigation management practices.

Results of the complex diagnosis and surgical treatment of 180 patients with perforation of gastroduodenal ulcers were analyzed. It was shown that in pathogenesis of perforations of chronic gastroduodenal ulcers the leading place belonged to oxidizing stress. A pathogenetically grounded method of treatment of perforations of chronic gastroduodenal ulcers is an excision of the perforated ulcers in combination with vagotomy, but the method of treatment of perforations of "silent" ulcers is videolaparoscopic suture with endoscopic transgastgric chemical vagotomy.

In 36 patients after LHE, the postoperative period was significantly easier than after standard operation.

Results of treatment of 162 patients with echinococcosis of the liver were analyzed. Traditional surgical treatment of these patients was followed by endovideoscopy of the residual cavity of the liver.
