Finding the incriminated pathology might be difficult.
Aim: To report four ANCA-associated cases with a diagnosis problem.
Autoimmune diseases (ADs) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) may be associated in approximately 10-20% of cases. Although this association has been well recognized, it is not always easily diagnosed. The exact physiopathological mechanism involved has yet to be determined but seems to be multifactorial.
