[Results of treatment on 56 sarcomas of the uterus between 1953 and 1977 (author's transl)].

At the Frauenklinik Finkenau Hamburg a total of 56 women were treated for sarcoma of the uterus between 1953 and 1977. Accounting for 1.2% of all malignancies, sarcoma is a rare tumor.

[Therapeutic results in cervix carcinomas during the period 1962-1966].

At the Frauenklinik Finkenau in Hamburg, from 1962 to 1966 a total of 586 women were hospitalised for initial treatment of a carcinoma of the uterine cervix. The results of treatment are compared with those continously published by our clinic since 1946. The absolute 5-year-cure-rate amounted to 59,6%.
