Cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) generate substantial data, often stored in image or PDF formats. Remote monitoring, now an integral component of patient care, places considerable administrative burdens on clinicians and staff, in large part due to the challenge of integrating these data seamlessly into electronic health records. Since 2006, the Heart Rhythm Society, in collaboration with the CIED industry, has led an initiative to establish a unified standard nomenclature.

The NASA Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover Mission has collected samples of rock, regolith, and atmosphere within the Noachian-aged Jezero Crater, once the site of a delta-lake system with a high potential for habitability and biosignature preservation. Between sols 109 and 1,088 of the mission, 27 sample tubes have been sealed, including witness tubes. Each sealed sample tube has been collected along with detailed documentation provided by the Perseverance instrument payload, preserving geological and environmental context.

Human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived endothelial cells (ECs) have emerged as a promising source of autologous cells with great potential to produce novel cell therapy for ischemic vascular diseases. However, their clinical application still faces numerous challenges including safety concerns such as the potential aberrant immunogenicity derived from the reprogramming process. This study investigated immunological phenotypes of iPSC-ECs by a side-by-side comparison with primary human umbilical vein ECs (HUVECs).

Objective:  Recent advances in smartphone applications for measuring range of motion have led to the development of the physio master application by Trinus Laboratory, Navi Mumbai. This app, equipped with a magnetometer and accelerometer, accurately measures the angle between starting and ending device positions. This study aimed to assess the inter-rater and intra-rater reliability, as well as the criterion validity, of the physio master application in measuring cervical range of motion in healthy individuals.

Background: Patients who have experienced a cryptogenic stroke (CS) may benefit from extended monitoring and possible earlier detection of atrial fibrillation (AF), allowing for the timely initiation of appropriate pharmacotherapy.

Objective: This economic study aimed to evaluate the clinical and cost outcomes of using mid-term cardiac monitors (referred to as "ePatch") versus ILR-only in post-CS patients in the UK, Netherlands (NL) and Sweden.
