Most species of pheasants (Galliformes: Phasianidae) occur in Asia. In Pakistan, pheasants occur from 245-3050 m in altitude, and one of these, the Kalij pheasant (Lophura leucomelanos) is a large-bodied, brightly-colored habitat quality indicator species. The present study was designed to determine spatiotemporal variation, population size, and the relative abundance of Kalij pheasants in Haripur, Pakistan.

Personalized heart digital twin technology presents a noninvasive method of predicting critical substrate in VT, and its integration into clinical VT ablation offers a promising solution. The accuracy of the predictions of digital twins to detect invasive substrate abnormalities is unknown.

We describe the initial uptake and experience of PFA using a pentaspline catheter across selected National Health Service England (NHSE) centres.
Methods: Data collected by NHSE Specialised Services Development Programme regarding AF ablation procedures using a single-shot, pentaspline, multielectrode PFA catheter (FARAWAVE, Boston Scientific) between June 2022 and August 2024 were aggregated and analysed to examine procedural metrics, acute efficacy and safety outcomes over 3-month follow-up.
Background: Though an important component of high-quality healthcare, the routine collection of patient experience data is limited in primary care, as is the evidence for how this data is being used for quality improvement. This study used a learning health system (LHS) framework to describe how a university-affiliated community general practice is integrating patient experience data into service and quality improvement efforts, and to identify barriers and facilitators.
Methods: A co-designed qualitative case study was conducted with academic researchers and staff from a university-affiliated general practice in Australia.
Background: Guidance and outcomes of coronary ischemia assessment (IA) in those with structural heart disease (SHD), presenting with monomorphic ventricular tachycardia (MMVT) is unclear.
Objectives: To assess the impact of IA on arrhythmic and non-arrhythmic outcomes in those with SHD.
Methods: Patients presenting with MMVT over a 6-year period to a tertiary center were retrospectively analyzed.
