This study aimed at the evaluation of the sedative effect of phytol (PHY) with possible molecular mechanisms through in vivo and in silico studies. For this, adult male mice were randomly divided into six individual groups, namely control (vehicle), two standards (DZP: diazepam at 2 m/kg, FLU: flumazenil at 0.1 mg/kg), three test groups (PHY at 25, 50, and 75 mg/kg), and three combined groups with the DZP-2 and/or FLU-0.

The soy isoflavone daidzin (DZN) has been considered a hopeful bioactive compound having diverse biological activities, including anxiolytic, memory-enhancing, and antiepileptic effects, in experimental animals. However, its sedative and hypnotic effects are yet to be discovered. This study aimed to evaluate its sedative/hypnotic effect on Swiss mice.

Impact of COVID-19 on mental health: A quantitative analysis of anxiety and depression based on regular life and internet use.

This paper describes the psychological state of human from different ages, genders, and professions with the impact of COVID - 19 in their regular life in Bangladesh with simulated and visualized infographic images containing statistical analysis from a collected survey on real regular life which is based on their activities of regular life and internet uses. Literature has been reviewed with various COVID - 19 based psychological work and our work on psychological state, anxiety reasons, and depression scale analysis. Secondly, a process of analysis and statistical format has been described through a specific methodology diagram, which contains the collected dataset's overall data analysis process.

COVID-19 and Bangladesh: Situation report, comparative analysis, and case study.

This paper describes different aspects of COVID-19 in Bangladesh and other countries with visualization and infographic images containing the virus's spreading, other information from the statistical format, and some case studies based on various important fields for a country educational, economic, etc. Firstly, literature review section this paper on COVID-19 related works and its type with previous virus transmission reports and its effect. Zingiber roseum Rosc. rhizome: A rich source of hepatoprotective polyphenols.

Zingiber roseum is native to Bangladesh and widely used in folk medicine. This present study was designed to assess the ameliorative potential of Zingiber roseum rhizome extract in carbon tetrachloride (CCl) induced hepatotoxicity in mice model. Seven phenolic compounds were identified and quantified by HPLC analysis in the plant extract, including quercetin, myricetin, catechin hydrate, trans-ferulic acid, trans-cinnamic acid, (-) epicatechin, and rosmarinic acid.
