Background: Charcoal Rot (CR) poses a significant threat to mung bean crops by reducing yield, making the development of resistant varieties crucial for stable production and food security. This study evaluated 19 newly identified mung bean landraces using biochemical traits and SSR markers, revealing genetic variability, CR disease reactions, and traits influencing yield and resistance, which provide valuable insights for breeding CR-resistant, high-yielding varieties.
Methods And Results: Mung bean landraces were evaluated for their response to CR using 4 biochemical parameters, and 10 SSR markers to assess genetic variability and disease resistance.
The structure of human coagulation factor XIII (FXIII), a heterotetrameric plasma pro-transglutaminase that covalently crosslinks pre-formed fibrin polymers, remains elusive until today. The heterotetrameric complex is composed of two catalytic FXIII-A and two protective FXIII-B subunits. Structural etiology underlying FXIII deficiency has so far been derived from crystallographic structures, all of which are currently available for the FXIII-A2 homodimer only.

The product selectivity between 2,5-dihydropyrrole and pyrrole can be tuned by altering the substituent on the N atom of 1,6-diyne. We highlight the intricacy and efficiency of this approach in constructing molecular frameworks under mild conditions with a high functional group tolerance.

Herein, newly synthesized coumarin derivatives with azomethine and amino-methylated as the functional groups have been focused on their antibacterial efficacy. The study proposed two distinct series: 3-acetyl substituted coumarin derivatives, followed by the Schiff base approach (5a-5i), and formaldehyde-secondary cyclic amine-based derivatives (7a-7g), using the Mannich base approach, further the compounds have been confirmed through various spectral studies.
