The autoimmune disease systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is presented with many clinical symptoms. The transcription factor fork head box protein 3 (Foxp3) is expressed on regulatory T (T-reg) cells and essential for its development and function. Functional single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the Foxp3-3279 (rs3761548 C/A) gene influence SLE pathogenesis.

Achieving a net-zero emissions economy requires significant decarbonization of the transportation sector, which depends on the development of highly efficient electrocatalysts. Electrolytic water splitting is a promising approach to this end, with Ni-Mo alloys emerging as strong candidates for hydrogen production catalysts. This study investigates the electrodeposition of Ni and Ni-Mo nanostructured alloys with high molybdenum content onto low-carbon steel cathodes using a novel alkaline green lactate bath.

Objectives: The benefits of neoadjuvant therapy prior to surgery for patients with locally advanced oesophageal cancer have been well established by multiple trials. However, there may be socioeconomic barriers impacting equitable administration. We aim to identify whether disparities exist in the uptake of neoadjuvant therapy among patients with loco-regional oesophageal cancer.

Synthesized 3,4-Diaminothieno[2,3-b]thiophene-2,5-dicarbohydrazide (DTT) Schiff base derivatives newly were synthesized by attaching with different aldehydes, deposited in thin film form by thermal evaporation technique, and characterized by UV-Visible-NIR spectroscopy, FT-IR, NMR, and elemental analysis. It is revealed that compound 4 has the highest absorption peak intensity at 586 nm. The allied absorption, dielectric, and dispersion parameters have been calculated and discussed.
